About Me

Seiza la Roo
I live in Portland, ride a bicycle, and live in a large house with many wonderful people. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2006, and underwent a mastectomy in September, followed by chemotherapy, which I completed in February 2007. I'm currently in the process of getting breast reconstruction. I'm still very much in recovery mode and not the cycling maniac that I used to be. In fact, it may take a couple of years to get my energy back. In the meantime, I've been looking for ways to continue my bicycle-oriented lifestyle. As a result, I've been researching electric bicycles. This blog is an attempt to start a discussion about ebikes with other people. I believe that ebikes are a viable way to get around town that is ecologically responsible and inexpensive.
